What to do after completing 10th class?

After the results are out. There is one common question hits every
student’s mind. Which stream they should opt for? science, commerce, arts. This is a
common problem faced by every student. We can see that every field has many opportunities
nowadays but choosing the right stream which they are interested in is a major concern.
There are a lot of options but choosing the right career after 10th is very crucial. It is
not easy to decide on a career option that will determine the rest of your life for you
especially at the tender age of 15 or 16. Even parents are a little confused about the right
advice to give you. If you have scored less than expected in your class 10 th there is no need to
panic or become anxious.
Sachin Tendulkar failed in the 10 th . But he was very clear what he wanted from his life.
But are we? Few students are very clear about what they want in their life. But many students
are confused to choose their career. Class 10 th is the most important and confusing crossroads
of your career. The right decision can help you succeed in your career. And if you make the
wrong choice, you will have to face the consequences for the rest of your life.
There are many Career options after 10th Standard some are discussed below:
Science:
Science is the most popular and best career option for the majority of parents and
students. Many students take science for their higher studies to full fill their dreams from
their childhood. By choosing science it helps us to know everything in the universe. Talking
at the basic education level, the science can be divided into three board categories – Physics,
Biology, Chemistry.
Commerce:
It is the best option after science. If you are good with numbers, data, and curiosity in
learning finance better to choose commerce for higher studies. It offers various opportunities
like MBA, finance, Chartered Accounting. If you love numbers, calculations, economics then
finance is the best option for you. If you want a good score in commerce you should be best
in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
Arts/Humanities:
Nowadays arts/humanities are very high in demand and more and more students are
opting for it. It provides students with an array of career opportunities. It offers many career
options such as Journalism, languages, history, psychology, etc. Design, Language Arts,
Performing arts, Humanities are the best career options. Arts subjects encourage creativity
and self-expression. Students who take up the art stream can develop critical thinking. It also
helps you increase your leadership qualities.

So one of the major mistakes done by the students is following the crowd/friends –
This is one of the most common mistakes which most of the students unknowingly make.
Many students just take up that particular stream because their friends have decided to take
that stream. This can turn out to be the worst decision of their lives.
You must choose the stream which you are most passionate about rather than doing what
most of the students are doing.
